p-Cymene (para-Cymene) is made by isomerization from high-quality turpentine or dipentene. It has a particular carrot or lemon-like odor and is soluble in alcohol & ether but not in water.

As important raw material for fragrance, cosmetics, perfumery, detergent, soap, daily chemicals, pesticide, medicine, synthetic material, etc.
