Ester Gum is made from gum rosin or hydrogenated rosin through esterification with edible/pharmacy grade glycerol. Both are food grade for food additive.

Emulsification stabilizer in drinks and as chewing ingredient in chewing gum & bubble gum. The hydrogenated ester gum can be also used as tackifier for cigarette filter adhesives.
