Camphene is an isomeric result of pinene, a kind of terpene, appears white wax-like solid in normal temperature. Practically insoluble in water, Moderately soluble in alcohol, soluble in ether, cyclohexane, dioxane, chloroform. It will volatilize when exposed to air.
